Ellen Bunch, RN, served as President of WorkSaver Employee Testing Systems, LLC (aka, WorkSaver) until January 2014. During her 19 years of tenure in this position with WorkSaver, Mrs. Bunch developed one of the most effective quality assurance review systems available today in the field of employee functional (fitness-for-duty) testing. She also coordinated WorkSaver services with industries and directed her staff of quality assurance (QA) nurses to conduct detailed reviews of all WorkSaver Fitness for Duty and ADA-Compliant Post-offer, Pre-placement (New Hire) Evaluations performed by WorkSaver’s network of certified clinics.

On January 1, 2014, Mrs. Bunch resigned from her position as President of WorkSaver Employee Testing Systems, handing the reins over to Trevor Bardarson, PT, OCS, CBES. She served as a consultant to WorkSaver particularly in the areas related to Quality Assurance and Policies and Procedures until her passing in 2020.

Mrs. Bunch was a member of the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses and National Orthopedic Nurse Association. She sat on the Board of Certified Behavioral-Based Ergonomic Specialists (BCBES). In addition to her busy and remarkable professional career she was very active in volunteer work with cancer patients and also animal rescue organizations such as H.O.P.E. for Animals. She is missed by all.
